Sometimes It's The Simple Things

Things do not always have to be expensive or extravagant in order to really impress children. We came home with these on Monday and the boys were ecstatic.

We bought two white trays like this from Ikea years ago and Parker and Wesley usually sit to eat at them for breakfast and snacks. The legs on ours are broken and don't always stay up as they should, which is not super convenient when food is on top of them! When we started talking about adoption, we tried to buy a third tray. Unfortunately, Ikea had stopped making them. Monday, Daryl and I needed to get away for a bit and headed down to Orlando for our day off. We happened to visit Ikea, and wouldn't you know the trays are back in stock and come in three colors now. Each boy claimed a tray without a problem (Davis purple, Parker green and Wesley blue) which should also eliminate fights over who gets the "good" tray.
