This week Daryl and I had the opportunity to go down to Fruitland Park and do some touring around and meet more people from Community UMC. Our time started with a tour of the parsonage, then the church property and we finished up with a wonderful potluck dinner with members of the staff, the Church Council and the Staff Parish Committee. We are thrilled to have this opportunity to serve together and we were so pleased with how welcoming and gracious everyone was during our visit. Things will be very busy in the next two months as we wrap things up at Belleview and Druid Hills and make preparations for our time at Community. Not to mention sorting things out in our current parsonage and preparing for the actual move!
