After our 5k on Saturday morning we had to go straight back to the Family Life Center at church for the Cub Scout Pinewood Derby with Pack 143. Wesley changed clothes real quick and then he got to open the event by leading everyone in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Here's Wesley with his friend Gavin from scouts and from church. Gavin came in first place for the Webelos.
Wesley's car did awesome and he won an award for the Wolf Den.
He also won first overall for the entire pack!
Wesley is qualified now for the Cub Scout District race which will be next month
at the mall in Leesburg. Congratulations to our Cub Scout!!
