In front of the new library this week (which should open next month) the City installed a windmill. It is the original windmill that was used to power the city's water supply years ago. The city sold it and it was located on someone's private property and they were able to get it back. It looks awesome!
Also they put up a historic register marker for the Old Casino building that used to sit on the site of the library. For over 100 years, it functioned as a community center in town. The old library down the street will eventually be converted into another community center.
