There have been a lot of things that have been hard about this year, but one of the nice things has been the way that folks in the church have reinvented our usual programs and ministries to fit with the idea of being socially distanced and safe outside. Last night, our children and youth ministries gathered for a Christmas party outside at camp around the bonfire - masked and socially distanced and each family was given a kit for making s'mores and brought their own food to cook over the fire. We played Christmas music and then we voted for the best and ugliest Christmas masks for prizes. It was lovely to be outside at camp. And to see some families that we haven't seen for months.
