A childhood friend's mother (who used to be my Girl Scout leader for several years) sent me a sweet note this week saying that she was praying for me in this Lenten season and she sent along this picture that she had recently found. It's almost 25 years old! It's me, my mom and both my grandmothers at one of the Mother-Daughter Luncheons that Grandmommy always organized for us at church. Even though we aren't looking into the camera, it's such a nice surprise to see us all together doing something like that.
