I was elected as a delegate to the Southeastern Jurisdictional Conference of the UMC back in 2019 for a meeting in 2020. That meeting was postponed by Covid. We were to meet this year but its been pushed off until next year in person at Lake Junaluska NC. But today we met briefly online for worship, to receive video reports of anti-racism work around our various conferences and to vote to take the Memphis and Tennessee annual conferences and create from them a new conference - the Tennessee-Western Kentucky Conference. It was weird to be alone in my home office, online for this meeting. Looking forward to when we can be in person.
