Week Four of Basketball

Tuesday night's game was a hard loss against Eustis at home. Wesley didn't get to play at all. The Raiders kept it even for most of the game but just couldn't hold out at the end. They lost 43-38.

Thursday night's game against Tavares was the boys' last home game - here's the 8th grade boys outside this afternoon.

In between the girls' game and the boy's game, they recognized all of the 8th graders on the girl's team, the cheerleading squad, and the boy's team.

Wesley got to play several minutes at the end of the first quarter and a bit into the second quarter. The Raiders came from behind to tie the game up at 25 at one point, but then Tavares went back on a shooting spree. The game finished up 40-32; but Carver was much improved from their first game against Tavares where they only scored 8 points (35-8).

And Wesley had a bigger cheering section tonight thanks to the Hills!

We're at 4 wins and 4 losses now with two more away games next week.
