Back to the Legacy Trail this week again but in a different section. We did 10 miles total starting at Laurel Park in Nokomis and riding south to the end of the island of Venice (near Daryl's church).
This part of the trail was more challenging with steep climbs for the bridges over the roadways.

Historic Venice Train Depot - you can walk through one of the old circus train cars
Venice High School along the canal in the Venetian Waterway PArk
We turned around to head back when we reached about 5 miles - and the "Circus" Bridge at the south end of Venice Island.
And afterwards we found an amazing restaurant on the inlet by Nokomis Beach!
