Parker came home for part of his spring break, starting on Friday afternoon. so we went to a spring training baseball game as a family to celebrate - Pirates at Orioles at Ed Smith Stadium in Sarasota. We were sitting behind the Orioles bench along the first base line - but I was cheering for the Pirates. My Grandma Washburn grew up near their stadium in Pittsburgh and was a die hard fan. Game ended in a tie and the new pitching clock made things go much faster.
We loved it so much we might have bought tickets for a couple of other spring training games in different stadiums before we left.
