Friday started for me in downtown Sarasota at 6:30am catching a trolley from the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer over to the Regal Cinema for the start of the stations of the cross walk - sponsored by the Sarasota Ministerial Association. Almost 1000 people walked a mile through downtown and it was wonderful. I read part of the liturgy at station 12.

With Rev. Dr Tom Pfaff - retired UM clergy who heads up the Sarasota Ministerial Association - we had 28 clergy from 14 different denominations participate today.
The last station ended back at Church of the Redeemer for morning prayer. I've never seen a cross covered in this way before.
Then I went down to Grace UMC Venice to participate as a reader in Daryl's noon Good Friday Tenebrae service. The boys came too - Wesley helped with tech in the sanctuary and Davis was a helper starting to decorate the contemporary worship space for Easter.
