Last Saturday I spent time in Fort Myers dreaming about future ministry post-hurricane Ian with people from the PCUSA and ELCA churches on Fort Myers Beach. All three island churches were heavily damaged and all three churches/denominations are weighing their options about what the future looks like and if we could/should work together on a community church effort. It was a good first day of dreaming together.
