The last Sunday of February, I worshipped with two congregations in the morning - Harvest UMC in Lakewood Ranch and then First UMC Sarasota downtown. It was a great morning of music and inspiration and fellowship.
Then I met up with Daryl and Wesley and Davis for lunch in Venice and walked a labyrinth before heading home.
They stayed at church and walked with a bunch of Grace folks at the Crop Walk for Hunger Relief - which Grace was hosting.
Then on the last day of February, I spent time at Crossroads Mission in Sarasota and also at Rogers Community UMC in Bradenton (our district's only African American church). It was good to check in with both of their pastors.
