The Birthday Continues

Today Grandma and Grandpa came up to help Mommy finish celebrating her birthday. They attended church with us, having made arrangements with Mommy's assistant to have the altar flowers at church dedicated to her. Then after church we went out to lunch at Estela's, a new Mexican restaurant in town that Mommy had been wanting to try. Thankfully, it turned out to be very good, authentic Mexican food. Then it was back to the house so that Grandma and Grandpa could get some snuggle time and play time with the boys.

Later on Mommy opened up her birthday present - some money towards our big trip, two new outfits and a Target gift card to do some more shopping for summer clothes. Thank you so much! And we also enjoyed Mommy's birthday cake, a Brown Derby cake (that was something new we'd never had before!). Parker especially liked all the fruit inside the cake.

The boys crashed really hard after a big afternoon of play. Wesley fell asleep with Grandma and Parker crawled up in the big recliner with Daddy to watch the last inning of the Rays game. After sitting still for just a few minutes, he was sound asleep.
