Father's Day

This morning we started off celebrating Father's Day at church. Parker got to sing with the kids choir one more time before we move which was so great. He and Aydenn and Shalyn sang "Fruits of the Spirit" for the offertory.

Then later we had Sunday dinner at Grandmommy and Granddaddy's to celebrate Father's Day and Mommy's upcoming birthday. Grannie, Uncle David, Aunt Barbara and Uncle Daniel's crew all showed up. Daddy received a commemorative book from the Gator Football Championship and a business card case for Father's Day. Mommy got the new Active game for the Wii, a beautiful earring and necklace set, a cookbook, two giftcards to Michael's for scrapbooking stuff and a gift card to Applebee's. For dessert, we had strawberry pizza as Mommy's birthday cake.

The older cousins had fun playing together, but Wesley ended up in the kitchen hanging out with Grandmommy in the sink!

Then later we went over to see Grandma and Grandpa. Grandpa has been walking with the walker for a few weeks now, but every time we've been to see them lately it's been just after he's gone back to bed after being up for awhile. But tonight he was able to get up while we were there and walk out to the living room so he could hang out with us and watch the boys play. That was great to see!
