Weekend Wrapup

So we spent Saturday morning with sports of course! T-ball first at 9am as the Shady Road Veterinary Clinic (us) played Scott Smith Roofing. Parker played second base for one inning and shortstop for another. He also got hits off the pitches without needing the tee again. It was a nice day to be at the ballfield and it was a good game.

Then it was off to the last day of bowling for this ten week league. Parker got to pick up his new ball before he bowled and he used it to turn in a 73, 99 and 84. What was most impressive was that in the first two games he got strikes in the tenth frame both times, followed by a spare! Going into today, Parker had the overall high boy average and Kindergarten Rocks was tied for 2nd place.

After bowling we headed home for lunch and a nice long nap for the boys. When they woke up, Mommy went out to Publix with the boys to pick up some candy for the trick-or-treaters. Turns out Publix was having a trick-or-treat event in the store. Even though they weren't dressed up and didn't have treat bags, the employees got the boys plastic bags and kept filling them up everywhere we went. In the produce department, bananas. In the bakery department, fresh baked cookies. And lots of good candy in the other departments! We figured between this and the two Trunk N Treats that the boys had enough candy and we stayed in with them. Alas, though, we didn't have a single trick or treater at the house!

Sunday was nice and low key as Mommy and Daddy both celebrated All Saints' Day during worship. We had lunch at Druid Hills and then watched some football before Mommy headed back down to Belleview for a Trustees meeting. A nice relaxing day at home!
