Pulpit Swap

Today was our very first ever pulpit swap between Belleview and Druid Hills with Mommy and Daddy. Because Belleview has two services at 8:30am and 11:00am and Druid Hills has one service at 10:30am, we were able to worship together as a family at the early service this morning. Mommy sang in the praise team and Daddy did everything else that Mommy usually does. It was so nice to be able to sit as parents with Parker in the pew and for Mommy to be able to hear Daddy preach again! And the Belleview folks were very welcoming of Daddy.

Then after the early service was over, Mommy took off to Druid Hills so that she could preach there. Daddy's folks were very welcoming and it seemed to go pretty well. She got to hang around and eat lunch with them and then she took back off for Belleview where the crowd there was just finishing up going through the buffet line after the second service. Everyone had very complimentary things to say about Daddy.

All in all it was a good experience! We're looking forward to the next one which is at the end of May.
