A Visit From Grandma

Saturday morning Grandma came up to spend the day with us. We spent some time just hanging around the house - the boys showing her some of their video games and putting a big floor puzzle together with Grandma. Later we went out for lunch at Zaxby's and the boys got to use the gift cards that they received from Grandma and Grandpa at Christmas. They felt so important ordering and paying by themselves!

From lunch we headed to spend some time at Jervey Gantt Park. The boys climbed around on the equipment and even played catch with Daddy.

From the park we were off to bowling. Parker bowled his two games for this week and the two games for next week (we will be away - more on that later). He did really well overall - 32, 73, 68, and 66.

The rest of us decided we wanted to get in on the bowling action as well, so we got a lane next to Parker and bowled two games. This was the first time Grandma had been bowling since before Mommy was born! Her first frame was a gutter ball followed by a complete knockout (spare). Here is Grandma's debut back at the alley:

We had one tired puppy in the car on the way home from bowling. Grandma actually sat with Wesley in the minivan while we ran an errand at Wal-Mart. When we got home, he was still sleepy and snuggling and Grandma took full advantage.
