Grandpa

Tonight we ask for your continued prayers for our family. Grandpa took a significant turn for the worse over the weekend after being moved to a rehab facility in Tampa last Friday. We traveled home on Sunday afternoon to be with him and Grandma. Because his prognosis for a full and meaningful recovery is poor, we have made the decision to honor Grandpa's wishes from his living will and provide comfort care measures only from this point forward. We stayed all day in Tampa and were able to visit with Grandpa's sister (Aunt Susie) as well, who arrived from Indiana today. While we have returned home this evening to wrap up some things at both churches, we anticipate returning to Tampa later this week. So many people have reached out to us by phone, email and even text message and we are touched to know that so many people are thinking of us and lifting us up in prayer.
