Vacation Day Seven

We were a little slower on this day getting out but were rewarded with another great day once we got there about 10am. Our section was a little less crowded than the day before, but still no one wanted to leave. We sat in the chairs while the boys dug in the sand, we all played in the water- it was just wonderful!

We went to the pool about 1:30 and stayed until about 2:45. Shower time has been interesting this week. Parker has taken a step of independence this week. He takes the key and goes in first, gets his shower, gets dressed and then comes back out to the pool to get the next person. He seems to have really embraced this chance to show responsibility.

After showers and lunch, we all got caught up watching something on TV called "American Ninja Warriors." Later the grownups took turns packing and napping-Mommy napped with a little guy who crawled up on her lap.

We left about 6:30 and headed to north Sarasota for dinner at Friendly's. The boys had two different versions of mac n cheese followed up with huge sundaes.

When we got back to the apartment "the mans" bonded over Buccaneer preseason football (we won) and Rays baseball (we kicked butt) while Mommy got in one last run. The beach was too dark so she ran on the very well-lighted sidewalks of Midnight Pass Road. A very good end to a very good week!
