Checkmate

This past Monday night at Cub Scouts, Parker's den played chess. He was one of two kids who already knew how to play, and he explained all the names of the pieces to the other kids. Then they divided up in two groups to play actual chess matches. Parker played against a team of two other boys....one of whom got bored and gave up after a while. The other game was over fairly quickly as well. Parker's game however, went on for almost the entire hour! He ended up winning by taking all of the other kid's pieces. He really likes chess and he's pretty good at it.
