Saturday is the day that we gathered to celebrate both Wesley's and Daryl's birthdays.
We had another great meal with the family at Grandmommy and Granddaddy's house.
Notice the difference in stack size between presents for a 5 year old
and presents for someone in his upper 30s!
This race car cake was designed by Wesley himself....down to the icing colors and the addition of Santa driving and the football player resting on the front wheel.
Daryl got his traditional Mounds Bar Cake and we only made him blow out 3 candles.
Daryl had several little helpers to open all of his cards.
When lunch and cake was down the kids wandered out to test Wesley's new Nerf football that changes color depending on what color glasses that you wear with it.
We stayed in town to watch the big Gator-Nole rivalry in football before packing up all of our stuff and heading home after a great weekend of fun.
