We received a very exciting email today from the head of the Lifeline China Team! They got a message in their office today that our Travel Approval has been issued by the CCCWA and is on its way to the Lifeline office in Birmingham, Alabama. It should arrive on Monday.
Once they receive that they will be able to request our Consulate Appointment. We have already submitted our top five dates for that appointment that Lifeline will arrange with the US Consulate in Guangzhou - all in the first week of July with Monday, July 1 at the very top of our list.
So realistically, by the end of next week we could have our official date and be booking our flights for June and our hotels in Beijing and Hong Kong for the beginning and end of our trip. Two months to go!
