We spent New Year's Day in Epcot. We got to ride Soarin' twice and hit everything else on the west side of Future World before our next Fastpass at the Character Spot. Davis really wanted to meet Mickey Mouse. He loved it; Davis even showed Mickey how he had Mickey Mouse on his sunglasses. We got to meet Goofy and Minnie as well.
Since Davis was tall enough, we finally got the big boys to agree to try out Test Track. We killed time in line by playing a game called Heads Up on Daryl's phone (we had seen a bunch of people playing this in line). It's sort of like the Pyramid game show where you describe things and people have to guess the word. We played the Superhero edition mostly. I don't think the little girl in line next to us was very impressed. The boys enjoyed the chance to design cars before boarding the ride. Parker's design car "won" more test track tests than the other car in our family.
Dinner was a taste of jolly 'ole England as we ate at the Rose and Crown Pub. The food was delicious and our server was really amazing. Plus we had great seats out on the water. Parker kept up his streak of interesting food by trying corned beef and cabbage. Wesley and Daryl had fish and chips, Davis had turkey meatballs on spaghetti, and I had bangers and mash.
