Summer Vacation - Part Two (Epcot, Yacht Club, Animal Kingdom)

The first day of our Disney vacation was spent in Epcot. We had fun with some of our favorite rides like Figment and the Living with the Land boat ride. The kids had fun trying on stuff in the gift shops! We also did one of the Agent Perry missions in the country of Germany - following the clues on the phone to different places and activating clues.

Our big lunch that day was in Norway at the Royal Askerhaus Hall. It was a princess meal and we got to meet Belle, Rapunzel, Snow White, Ariel, and Cinderella. I've always wanted to eat here and Davis was super excited to see all of the princesses because he thinks that they are SO pretty. The food was really good too!

On Wednesday we did some outlet mall shopping and then headed for Disney's Yacht Club Resort so that we could eat lunch at Beaches and Cream Ice Cream Shop. The highlight here was the dessert course - the kids got Mickey Mouse sundaes and Daryl and I split something called the "No Way Jose" with a mix of chocolate and peanut butter.

Then we spent the afternoon at Animal Kingdom. We took time for the roller coaster Primeval Whirl, the Triceratops Spin for Davis and the Festival of the Lion King show. I even snuck in a quick ride on Expedition Everest.

Then we changed into our bathing suits, stashed all our stuff in a locker (so these pictures are from the internet) and headed for Kali River Rapids. We managed to ride it three times before the park closed!
