Christmas Cruise Part One - Fun On Board

The day after Christmas, Granddaddy drove us all to the Port of Tampa so that we could set sail on our cruise aboard the Carnival Paradise. The Paradise is the same ship that Daryl and I sailed on for our honeymoon - 16.5 years ago! This was our first Western Caribbean cruise and we enjoyed our ports of Grand Cayman and Cozumel. But we had a lot of fun on board our ship too!

Leaving the Port and heading out underneath the Sunshine Skyway bridge

The Grand Atrium

The Normandie Lounge

Our Room on the Riviera Deck set up for 5 people

We played Mini Golf on deck a few times

Giant Chess!

The Paris Restaurant was always open for a snack

There was lots of great food and entertainment in the main dining room as well

On sea days, there was a wonderful brunch. The boys got fancy french toast with a cereal crust - Frosted Flakes for Wesley and Fruit Loops for Parker.

Our steward Liberato left us great towel animals each night and he moved our stuffed animals around  so they wouldn't feel left out.

And lots of entertainment on board....Dr Suess characters for meet and greets, singing and dancing shows like "The Brits" or "80s Rock", chances to play Bingo!, plus the Hasbro game show for families. The guy behind us won a small Simon Says electronic game and gave it to Davis. The little guy definitely seemed to enjoy his first cruise experience!

And of course our time would not have been complete without some time at the pool on the Lido deck along with its slide and the hot tubs.
