Christmas Eve

We didn't get a family Christmas Eve picture but this one is from the Sunday before Christmas in front of the poinsettias at church.

We had three Christmas Eve candlelight services at Community. The first one was at 5pm in the Family Life Center with our Worship Band.

The second and third services were in the sanctuary at 7 and 9pm. The 7pm service was so packed that the ushers had to add extra chairs across the back and seat people in the cry room.

Between all three services we hit 1,142 people for our Christmas Eve worship services. What a blessing to be able to worship with all of those people and celebrate the birth of the Savior! We also had the opportunity as a family to light the Advent Wreath at all three services. Here we are in the 9pm service: Davis fell asleep on Mama's shoulder during the first hymn before we started to read.

And this is our treasurer Connie. She volunteered to sit with our boys during the 9pm service when there was no nursery. She got lots of Davis snuggles as he slept in the pew with her.
