Clergy Fun

Last Sunday we spent the afternoon at the installation service for our new District Superintendent, the Rev. June Edwards. Daryl had the honor of presenting her with one of the symbols of her new office: the basin and towel, for one who serves.

Rev. Edwards serving communion with her daughter, also a clergywoman in our conference.

And then this Tuesday, Daryl and I spent the day with our associate pastor Loida at the Warren Willis Camp. We had the privilege of using the Lake Room to do sermon planning for 2017. We spent all day there and left in the evening with all of our sermon series planned out for next year, including titles and Scriptures!!!
