Last night at church, the UMW put on a silent and live auction for missions. There were almost 125 items for the silent auction portion and 13 things for the live auction. It was a wonderful evening of good food and fellowship and fun!!!
Daryl was the auctioneer for the live auction portion and one of the things he auctioned off was bow tie space around his own neck. He auctioned off two different Sundays and raised $90! He did a fabulous job with the live portion of the auction and gently coaxed people into bidding over $2,100 on items!
