Tiger Growl Campout

Friday night, Davis and I drove out to Boy Scout Camp La-No-Che in Paisley for the Tiger Growl campout, joining the other Tiger Cubs from Pack 143 at the church.

That "Debb" bucket in the picture below? That is my camp bucket I made in Girl Scouts back when I was a Brownie. That means it is 32 years old. Still works great!

We got there in time for the campfire and a special s'more treat.

In the morning Davis helped make pancakes for breakfast.

Opening Flag Ceremony... Tiger Scouts from all across our council.

First up was a Tiger Treasure hunt, looking for buried treasure with metal detectors...

Trying out the climbing wall.

A little Tiger on a nature Scavenger hunt.

Time for Archery!!

Getting ready for BB guns.

Davis did much better at this than archery. He hit the target 9 times; exactly half.

Outdoor box races....

There were lots of other great activities. Davis and the other boys had a lot of fun! Thankful to Mr Robert and Mr. Bill, his den leaders who made it a great experience.
