Saturday morning dawned for us bright and early and COLD as we headed to Leesburg High School for the Leesburg Police Department's Junior Athletic Games (JAG). Five elementary schools competed: Villages Elementary, Treadway, Beverly Shores, Leesburg and our own Fruitland Park Elementary School.
Wesley was chosen to be the 3rd grade boy from the school competing in the 100 yard dash.
He did great! First place for Wesley!
Later on he got to run the 4x100 meter relay. Again he represented 3rd grade and was the second person to run for Fruitland Park. He opened up a great lead for the team and they were able to finish in first place!
