Hometown Christmas

We spent Friday evening at Hometown Christmas on the lawn of City Hall in Fruitland Park. What a lovely tradition in our small town! Even though it was 77 degrees outside, we had a fabulous bonfire and got our annual selfie in front of it.

The big boys wanted to climb the rock wall and play laser tag and had a blast!

All Davis wanted to do was meet Santa. We saw the Grinch in line but Davis didn't want a picture with him. Davis told Santa what he wanted for Christmas and was thrilled to get a candy bag and stuffed teddy bear from Mrs. Claus.

And we spent a little bit of time checking out the Snowman contest with the members of City Council. That's Chris, our friend from church, getting all decked out. And me with his wife Meredith.

It was a fun evening and thankfully we had time to do everything we wanted before the rain started! Love living in the city of Fruitland Park with these fun hometown traditions.
