We spent a very nice date day at Epcot for the Food and Wine Festival.
We saw the progress on turning Ellen's Universe of Energy into a Guardians of the Galaxy Ride.
And they've opened up the old Wonders of Life Pavilion next door for the Food and Wine Festival Center this year. There's gift shops and food stations and theaters in here for cooking demonstrations.
We enjoyed a few rides - Mission Space and Spaceship Earth - as well as the France movie, and slowly walked our way around the World Showcase.

As we approached the Morocco Pavilion there were these large gatherings of people. We stopped and watched to see what was happening. There was a whole small ceremony as the cast members from Morocco welcomed a special woman with flowers and singing. When we asked a nearby cast member, we found out that the woman in the middle in white with the flowers is the Moroccan ambassador to the United States, Lalla Joumala Alaoui, and she is also Moroccan royalty since she is the King's cousin! It was touching to see how excited all of the Moroccan cast members were to welcome her.
We ended our time at Disney with a trip to Disney Springs. I couldn't eat much at Food and Wine because of my food allergies, so Daryl took me to Erin McKenna's bakery that is vegan-kosher-glutenfree-soyfree. I had an absolutely delicious chocolate milkshake and a brownie bite!!!!
