Daryl turned 49 on Tuesday.
We took him out to dinner at his choice - Oak and Stone - and he got this fabulous peanut butter explosion dessert. And then we went for a labyrinth walk together - he's been walking it every day in Advent as well this year.
But he was well celebrated earlier in the day too at Preschool Chapel and with the church staff who decorated his office and did a coffee and snack run to celebrate.
