Week in Review

Last Sunday I worshipped at First UMC Sarasota, which was Dr. Sam's last Sunday there after 8 years.

On Wednesday it was off to Annual Conference - day one included meetings and then Bonnet Springs park pre-conference party including the start of an art piece for the worship space where people wrote their hopes fulfilled on fabric

Thursday of Annual Conference - included Clergy Session where my friend Tracy Hunter transferred back to Florida, a video about feeding children that included Harvest from the South West, celebrating anniversary churches, local pastors luncheon and a drop in reception for the MFSA (Methodists for Social Action).

Some wonderful folks from the old Druid Hills and Belleview

Giselle Lawn from Community

Friday of Annual Conference - It included Clergywomen Breakfast, a report on Residing Hope (the new name for the children's home), the memorial luncheon, prayer vigil for Anti Racism, the Cabinet wearing flame wigs to match the Bishop from Thursday,

And Saturday the last day of Annual Conference - we set appointments for the upcoming year and then celebrated with the Licensing, Commissioning and Ordination Service.

Then we had a BOM meeting with the new group and we elected my amazing friend Latricia as the new chair of the BOM.

We were all tired when we got home, even the dogs!
