Here's a couple more pictures from Saturday night of me leading at the women's retreat. 
Sunday morning I started off with worship at Terra Ceia UMC. I went there to celebrate
 the retirement of their longtime pastor, Don Ringland, who has served 
them for 36 years. Don's wife Mary plays the organ and directs the 
choir. 
Don is being succeeded by the church's lay leader as a new lay supply pastor, Anita LeVan. 
Anita's son Jeremy came to celebrate with his mom. 
And
 then I went to Trinity UMC in Bradenton for their 11am worship service.
 Bishop Berlin was preaching and I was invited to lead the pastoral 
prayer time. Afterwards we went to lunch with a bunch of the church 
leaders at someone's nearby home. 
Tuesday
 we had a virtual tour online with our district Zoe Empowerment group in
 Kenya. Our district churches together are sponsoring this group of 23 
young adults as they learn skills and build businesses to help them 
support their younger siblings that they are raising. Daryl and I will 
be going to visit them in person this summer. 
Thursday
 Daryl and I drove down to Fort Myers for our DCOM meeting. I didn't get
 any good pictures of all of us together, but I did get this picture of 
our district lay leader all dolled up as our hospitality person to 
welcome the candidates to their interviews.
