I started the week worshipping at Cornerstone UMC and getting to listen to my friend (and mentor) Roy Terry preach. While there I got to congratulate one of our district certified candidates who will be graduating from seminary this weekend and appointed to a church in the district.
I had a lot of in person and Zoom meetings with folks this week including our DCOM. And then on Wednesday night we hosted a regional gathering for Bishop Berlin at Harvest UMC in Lakewood Ranch. We had a great turnout with 125 folks from around the district present. There were a few churches that brought small groups in caravans and a few of them wanted pictures with the DS.
