On Friday afternoon we said goodbye to our friend Tom Davis. Tom had been a gift to our family over the last three years. He volunteered to be trained for the sound booth at church, not because he had a burning desire to work with the tech, but because he wanted to offer help to his church and because he loved hanging out with our boys. When he saw us post about Wesley’s first track meet last year, he reached out and got the schedule. He and Ellen came to every single track meet after that, including the post-season one in Cape Coral. Thankful to have been adopted into his family circle and for all he poured into our boys especially.
