Sunday morning I preached at Wesley Memorial UMC in Fort Myers on the Discipline of Joy. Then we did their charge conference.
We had two more charge conferences on the docket for the day. The next one also involved a rededication of a worship space at Pine Island UMC. We had that wonderful celebration before we did their charge conference. And then they honored me and their pastor with a special cake for Pastor Appreciation Month.

Nancy Metz and I finished up our day of charge conferences at Cleveland UMC in Punta Gorda. It was a long but good day!
Monday I had tea with a pastor from Bradenton and then I did a charge conference online.
Tuesday, I spent the day in Bradenton and Punta Gorda meeting with churches and then led a charge conference at Trinity UMC in Sarasota.
On Wednesday, I had meetings with churches in Sebring and then led charge conference at Grace Venice. Afterwards Daryl and I both shared about our Zoe Empowers trip this past summer.
I rounded out the week with some more meetings on Thursday in Frostproof and Avon Park.
