I started the week visiting Emmanuel UMC in Bradenton with the wonderful and amazing Rev. Haley Eccles and I got to preach there too. Their new children's choir sang in worship for the first time.
Wednesday and Thursday I spent some time watching Leadership Institute from Church of the Resurrection in Kansas online - just wasn't in the cards to be there in person this year. Our bishop made an appearance during Wednesday night's session.
Thursday I watched the livestream from Harvest UMC - and I got to sneak into their school chapel to see their pastor speaking to the kids about leadership (with the captains of the Parrish high school football team).
It was a busy full week on Zoom plus visits to Bradenton, Punta Gorda and Lakewood Ranch.
