Wesley moved to Saint Leo University for his freshman year of college on Friday. Daryl, Parker and I took him for move in day. First was checkin at the Wellness Center.
After moving through several stations there he got his student ID and we were able to head over to his dorm. He is on the second floor of Benoit Hall, right in the middle of the the dorms near the athletic field.
Having done this before we were much better prepared in what we brought and how we packed it so we could unload it quicker. We had him basically all setup within 90 minutes.
Then it was time for the opening Welcome Ceremony for students and families in Bowman Gymnasium.
Each freshman went across the stage to receive a St. Leo pin.
Afterwards, we went shopping for a small dorm fridge and microwave and a few other things we discovered were needed. Then we took Wesley to dinner, set up the last few things and headed home.
He has orientation meetings this weekend and his first track team meeting as well before classes start on Monday. We are so excited for him for this upcoming year and so very proud of our St Leo Lion.
