Caroling Times Three

Sunday was a super Christmasy day in this family. Worship in the morning - and Daddy got to perform his first baptism which was so exciting for him! After worship in Belleview, Mommy and the boys went Christmas caroling with Parker's Joyful Noise choir, along with some of the youth and adults. We visited five different shutins and had a lot of fun singing Christmas hymns and fun songs like Deck the Halls, Rudolph and We Wish You a Merry Christmas.

Then we drove back from Belleview just in time to join Daddy at the Ocala Health and Rehab for the monthly worship service his church puts on there. We got to sing lots more Christmas carols with the nursing home residents and they seemed to really enjoy the music as well as Daddy's sermon on Joy.

We got to come back home for a little bit and relax before heading out to Silver Springs where Daddy's church members were singing Christmas carols. We joined in with the bunch and got to sing along - about forty or so church members showed up to sing thirty minutes of great Christmas songs. And we even got to wander around and look a little bit at some of the Christmas lights decorating the grounds for their Festival of Lights.

The boys loves Miss Karen's Santa hat that lit up!

Finally after we left Silver Springs, we headed home where we dropped the boys off with one of the BUMC youth so that we could attend a Christmas party with some of the BUMC volunteers at Logan's Roadhouse in Ocala. We had a great dinner and good fellowship, and even got to participate in a fun Chinese ornament exchange.
