Christmas Afternoon

When it was time to eat lunch on Christmas afternoon (about 1:30pm) we headed over to Grandma and Grandpa's to eat lunch with them there. The boys were excited to see another Christmas tree with more presents underneath it.

After a yummy lunch of roast beef and ham, we settled in to open up presents. Everybody picked their spot to sit and Wesley decided to chill out in the purple recliner. Parker decided to play Santa Claus and hand out the presents.

Everytime Wesley took a bow off a present, it spent a few minutes on his forehead before going in the trash!

Parker was very excited to receive the Toy Story version of Operation and huge Toy Story activity book.

Wesley's favorite toy of the day was his fake hamster in a ball. He eventually named it "Coco" after Uncle Daniel's dog. You can see Coco in this video:

After things got straightened up a bit, the boys wanted to go to the park with their new Bubble machines and try them out. Parker went down the slide with this in this picture and Wesley demonstrates in the video below:

We finished up our time in the park with some time on the swings. First the boys and then Daddy show off their swing skills in the next two videos:

When we got back we warmed up with some hot chocolate and the boys spent some time at the table with Grandpa showing off some of their new toys. We had strawberry shortcake for dessert and were back to Grandmommy's house about 8:00pm. Even without a nap, it took a while to get the boys calmed down and into bed by 10:00pm. They had definitely enjoyed their Christmas day and so did Mommy and Daddy.
