Honors and Awards

This morning there was an honors assembly at South Ocala Elementary

for the 3rd and 4th grade classes. 

3rd grade is the first time that Parker received all letter grades for academic subjects and so 

this was the first time that he was eligible for Honor Roll. 

He was recognized for being on the A/B Honor Roll. 

Here he is shaking the principal's hand - Mrs. Burgess. 

These are the students in Miss Daunhauer's 3rd grade class on the A/B Honor Roll. 

Assistant Principal Miss Coy read out all the names - she will be the school principal next year. 

After all the awards were handed out, one of the 3rd grade classes put on a presentation with songs in Spanish and dancing - they did a great job. 

Before he headed back to class, we got to spend a couple of minutes with Parker. 

He was so excited about his new medallion!
