Christmas Eve - Celebrating 6 Months as a Family

Last year at this time, we were paper-chasing for our little boy Davis. Our dossier had been submitted to the Chinese authorities and we were awaiting LID status (log-in date). We received word after the first of the year that we were actually LID on Christmas Eve of 2012. It was an incredible Christmas present we didn't even realize at the time. We had this picture of a precious little boy sitting on our fireplace mantel. We were falling in love, even though we had yet to meet him.

This year that same little boy is home to celebrate with us.

And he has a stocking on that same fireplace mantel.

It's been six months since we met Davis for the first time in China - June 24, 2013.  The last six months have been nothing short of miraculous in how Davis and the rest of us have transitioned into a family of five, not to mention how he has been received by our extended families and others as well. We've shared lots of pictures of that first day together; today we want to share some of the videos that captured that first day. From our family to yours - enjoy and Merry Christmas!
