June 7th was Daryl's last Sunday at Druid Hills as the pastor there. After worship they held a wonderful Goodbye Luncheon. In true Druid Hills fashion (ie, Daryl's ordination party and 40th birthday celebration) there was wonderful potluck dishes, a program of speakers emceed by Dave Palmer and also themed decorations paying homage to Daryl's love of bowties as a fashion accessory. There was a slideshow of pictures too, and plenty of special gifts and cards.

As Daryl told the church, they will always have a very special place in his heart and always be the first church listed in his resume! As much as he has shaped them, he has been shaped by them too. It has been a wonderful six years of ministry for Daryl at Druid Hills.
