This week has been a busy one! Tuesday and Wednesday we spent in Oviedo at the Canterbury Retreat Center there on staff retreat with the wonderful folks we partner with in ministry at Community UMC.
Davis had a kindergarten awards ceremony for the first nine weeks while we were away. Our good friend the Weavers (whose daughter is in the same class) took pictures of our little guy who got an award for math and also for perfect attendance.
While we were away the kids had a blast hanging out with their babysitters Brianna and Brittani. On Tuesday night, Brianna took them all to the PTO fundraiser at Skate World on Tuesday evening. Parker lost a tooth when they got home too!
We spent Thursday at the Warren Willis camp in the Lake Room with this as our view as we worship planned all our sermon series for 2016.
And Friday morning we were able to be at school for the 2nd grade award assembly as Wesley got awards for the first nine weeks - AB Honor Roll and Perfect Attendance. All the awards are "dog tags" that the kids keep on a chain at school and accumulate throughout the year.
