I took an hour in the afternoon of my birthday and took off to one of my favorite places (camp!) to sit on the porch and read for a bit before picking up the kids and the babysitter and dropping them at home before going to a church meeting.
And after the meeting when I finally got home to the kids they decided to help me celebrate my birthday by making me brownies from scratch! So sweet!
