Spring Break Vacation Part One

For spring break this year we went on a family cruise to the Dominican Republic and also Grand Turk. We had another wonderful experience with Carnival. We drove down to Plantation on Friday March 15th after leading a funeral at church that morning. Saturday morning we finished driving into the Port of Miami and boarded the Carnival Sensation. This time we had a family suite with an extended balcony. It was so nice to have some room to move around and to have a walking closet as well as a bathtub!

After dropping off our stuff, we changed into swim gear and headed up top for some food and fun!

We changed and went to the dining room for early dinner. Rafael and Anton were our table team and Viktoriya was the dining room manager who helped me navigate the menu. They were fabulous with my food allergies and I never lacked for great stuff to eat!

When we got back after dinner, our towel animal awaited us, as well as Parker's birthday cake! He had already noticed the birthday decorations hanging in the room. And then we finished up the night with Bingo and the Welcome Aboard Show, where Parker had to stand up to be recognized for his birthday!

Our second day was a restful one at sea. We got up late and the boys and I went to Sea Day brunch. Davis and Parker loved their fancy tomato soup! Later Daryl and I got massages, while Parker hung out and the little boys played in Camp Carnival. Dinner was elegant night and we took the chance to get pictures while everyone was all dressed up!

French toast covered in Frosted Flakes!
