The first outdoor track meet of Wesley's IMG season was at Braden River HS today for the Pirate Booty Invitational. He had a nice cheering section with me and Grandmommy, plus Vicki and Ellen from church in these awesome shirts! (Jump Wesley Jump)
Wesley was seeded 2/34 kids in the meet. He camp in at 1.62 and cleared it on the first attempt.
Then he cleared 1.72, 1.82 and 1.87 all on first attempts. This was his 1.87 jump.
He couldn't quite get over 1.92. But he finished second overall for the meet!!!! And no shin splint pain today which is great.
